Planning a Disney trip and looking for the perfect resort to match your travel style? Whether you want ultra-luxury, iconic Disney charm, or a beautifully renovated hotel with great value, these Disney-area resorts each offer something special.
I’ve also included the AMEX Platinum benefits available at each location, because that’s truly the only way I book our stays. The Fine Hotels + Resorts and Hotel Collection perks make such a noticeable difference — from daily breakfast to late checkout, room upgrades, and resort credits — and it’s absolutely worth taking advantage of every time.
Below is a full breakdown of the Conrad Orlando, Four Seasons Orlando, Disney’s Grand Floridian, and Signia by Hilton Orlando, along with personal notes from our own stays and the AMEX perks you can expect at each.
🌴 Conrad Orlando
Modern Luxury • Resort-Style Amenities • New & Exceptional Service
Conrad Orlando is one of the newest luxury properties in the Disney area, and it truly feels like its own destination. We love staying here on our “off days” from the parks — the atmosphere is serene, elevated, and genuinely relaxing. The rooms are spacious and modern, the breakfast is amazing, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond.
Why You’ll Love It
Brand-new resort with a sleek, modern design
Excellent breakfast (one of the best in the area)
Great for non-park days — tons to enjoy on-site and you have access to Evermore Resort
Typical Price Point
💰 $450–$600+ per night
AMEX Platinum Benefits
(when booked through Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection)
Room upgrade upon arrival when available - we almost get an upgrade every time
Daily breakfast for two - breakfast can add up and this makes a big difference!
$100 property credit (varies by stay)
Noon check-in when available + guaranteed 4 p.m. checkout - late check-out is so nice.

🏰 Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Iconic Disney Luxury • Monorail Access • Classic Victorian Charm
We didn’t totally understand the hype of staying at a Disney resort until we stayed here — and now we get it. The convenience alone is unbelievable, but the real standout is the Cast Members. Every interaction feels magical in that only-Disney way.
Why You’ll Love It
The monorail access to Magic Kingdom is a game changer
There’s also a walking path straight to MK
Quick service dining was surprisingly good — and a great value
Every staff member brought so much Disney magic to the experience
We stayed during the lobby renovation and still loved it — can’t wait to see it finished
The only downside: the pools weren’t our favorites compared to other luxury-area resorts

My #1 Disney World Money-Saving Hack
One of my favorite (and honestly essential) Disney money-saving secrets is Instacarting groceries directly to your hotel. Almost every Disney-area resort — including the Conrad Orlando, Four Seasons Orlando, Grand Floridian, and Signia by Hilton — allows you to have groceries delivered straight to the bell desk, where they’ll store everything for you until you’re ready to pick it up.
No matter which hotel you’re staying at, you can use this hack — and it saves so much money.
This is perfect for:
Breakfast items
Snacks for the parks
Bottled water (a huge savings)
Coffee creamers, energy drinks, kid-friendly snacks
Baby items
Pool-day treats
Not only does this save money, but it also makes your entire trip easier and more relaxed. Everything is ready and waiting for you when you arrive, so you’re not scrambling to find a store or overpaying for basics at the hotel.
